One to watch out for #1

Psychoides filicivora

This is probably a much under-recorded moth In VC15 and is worth looking for in its early stages when it mines amongst others, Hartstongue Fern.

I’ve recorded this at various sites from across the county; from Fowlmead CP to Leeds Castle and from the Royal Military Canal to a pub garden in Wye!

It is fairly easy to rear through too. Care is needed to separate from P. verhuella but both larvae and adults can be separated.
