Mines by the million

Another early stage foray around Canterbury today and a good few species found.

The standout record was Ectoedemia heringella on Holm Oak. OK, nothing too spectacular in itself and I’ve personally recorded it from many sites in East Kent.  Until today however, I’d never found it in ‘Hyde Park-esque’ proportions, meaning that there were countless mines, probably into the millions!
