Kent Moth Group work as an informal group of people who are interested in recording moths. The group has this website, a facebook page and a twitter account. It meets at least annually and has the intention of producing reports and newsletters, though it is early days yet. If you would like to be added to our e-mail distribution list please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also have county moth recorders and data-basers: Ian and Sally Hunter, Karen Bartlett and Dave Shenton are dedicated to gathering information about the moths of Kent, vice counties 15 and 16. They submit this data to the national database as well as analysing the data and feeding information back to everyone who is interested in moths.
We really value records being sent to us so that we have as complete a picture of moths in Kent as possible. Click on How to submit data above to find out how to send us your records and to determine whether your records are for VC15, East Kent or VC16, West Kent.
If you want to add a summary or highlights of your own sightings direct to the site then please add a post to facebook. All entries can be seen on the latest sightings page.
You can also follow us onTwitter @mothsinkent or join in with the Kent Moth Group on Facebook.
